Inbetween Days!

Happy Wednesday darlings!! I hope your week is faring well! Now that the weather is getting better, I am more willing to step outside and take pictures. As I said on Monday, these were done while my daughter was in drama. It was a little cold and tiny flurries of snow were blowing around. But...it paid off, because once it was over, the sun came out even brighter & made things better! I'm addicted to corset belts at the moment, I've been wearing them with all my dresses & as always I have gloves on, lace ones. Another thing I buy a lot of, though my others are vintage. Great for finishing off an outfit or in my case, keeping my hands toasty! I hope you have a marvellous day dolls & have fun!!

Good Monday beautiful ones!! I trust your weekend was grand!?! Mine was great, my husband had the whole weekend off, so us girls were mega happy. I got a few things to have in my online shop, we danced in the sunlight & I managed to take photos for an outfit post, I know many of you have been waiting patiently, it's just the weather had been too wet for any pictures. It was cold, but the sun was out, so I got some taken, while my oldest was in drama class. Spring is coming for many of us, so I've added some flowers in here today! If your on Tumblr or follow me on either Facebook or Twitter, you would have seen me going on about being in a mega floral mood & I've continued it today! Have a wonderful Monday & as soon as my shop is done, I shall share it with you all - promise!

Lots of loves

{Pieces of Me} Happy Friday!!

Good Friday dolls!! Sorry I was gone all week, I've been terribly busy getting my photography website done and the other one I'm working on for my shop...I still have the eBay going, but I decided to make a site as well with pretty treasures that I find without the bidding!! Am almost done with it, so everyone will be able to see that soon. A while back I received this award from Alejandra from Parasol Dreams whom I love! She's freaking awesome - so you should say hello! And I finally got around to thinking of things to say about myself, I'm really terrible with talking about myself, but I did it, it's long, but I've been away all week, so it's ok ;) Have a wonderful weekend darlings & I shall be around to catch up with all of you soon!

Love loves
xoxo

1. Link back the person who nominated you. 2. Post the award on your page. 3. Tell seven facts about yourself. 4. Nominate seven bloggers and let them know they have been nominated ( I will do that later, this is long enough)

1. I love rollercoasters, the faster, the better! If they flip upside down and all around, that's even more brilliant to me! I remember going on one that you stood up on the whole time & it went upside down 6 times, I never laughed so hard in my life.

2. I wear glasses! (click to see larger) I get messages from girls telling me that I'm perfect or that they wear glasses and hate them...so I just wanted to show them, that I wear glasses as well & look just fine in them - though I just say I'm geek chic like Clark Kent & that when I take them off, I'm all BA-BOOM...like Superman, haha! You have to take what you think are your faults or body issues and give them humour, no one's perfect. We have to love ourselves as we are!! That's what really makes someone beautiful! Though, I can admit I need new glasses, haha!

3. Am a massive Bowie fan as you can see here with all my records, haha! I even have ones from the movie Labyrinth that he did the soundtrack for!!

4. I'm besotted with Art Nouveau & I like to collect pieces from the era or ones inspired by it!  1st pic- vase I thrifted for £3, I looked on the site it comes from & they sell for £60 & above for the small ones & big ones, so I got lucky! 2nd pic - Art Nouveau frame I thrifted, almost too pretty for a picture, but I'll put one in soon. 3rd pic - Art Nouveau inkwell, when I find a desk I love, I'll put it on there.

5. I love collecting old books, this is the latest one I'm reading the diary of a courtesan (recommended by a friend).  I bought this particular edition as it's from 1979, my birth year :)

6. The place I go to when I need to clear my head and relax - Loch Lomond...some of you have seen this place from a previous post, but after that one, I had readers ask what it looks like in the winter after reading that I go there even in the winter. I may take a video of it, so you can see it for real, when the weather is nice, so my hand doesn't freeze like it did taking this picture ;)

7. I like looking at pictures of myself as a baby, I can pin point features that my daughters have of me, it's sweet! (look at my hat, I had style, haha)

Have a great weekend dolls!

Mondays full of Joy...

Happy Monday dolls!! I hope your weekend was grand. The weather certainly picked up here and was so sunny and bright, I loved it. Though, the wind is still rather brisk, I did need to put on a different jacket to keep from roasting. It's so great to see the sun and flowers trying to grow through...though I know we are still on our way to full blown spring. The days won't seem so long and tiring now & we can spring into action and feel happier. Sometimes we find it hard to find joy in things, we let other's negatives bring us down and steal our joy, but we must keep joy close at hand, because sometimes it's our own joy that gets us through. I hope you find joy in every day from something....joy is a precious thing, that can be found in the smallest places, but bring the biggest outcomes...I hope that happens for you! Have a great Monday!
